'Inspirational messages to refresh the spirit and boost the emotional bank account'
The Love of a Friend
I can't give solutions to all of life's problems, doubts or fears. But I can listen to you and together we will search for answers.
I can't change your past with all its heartache and pain, nor the future with its untold stories - but I can be there now when you need me to care.
I can't keep your feet from stumbling, I can only offer my hand that you may grasp it and not fall.
Your joys, triumphs, success and happiness are not mine; yet I can share in your laughter.
Your decisions in life are not mine to make, nor to judge; I can only support you, encourage you and help you when you ask.
I can't prevent you from falling away from friendship, from your values, from me - I can only pray for you, talk to you and wait for you.
I can't give you boundaries which I have determined for you, but I can give you the room to change, room to grow, room to be yourself.
I can't keep your heart from breaking and hurting, but I can cry with you and help you pick up the pieces and put them back in place.
I can't tell you who you are . . . I can only love you and be your friend.

Always Keep Them Close
A mother passed away and on that clear, cold morning and in the warmth of her bedroom her daughter was struck with the pain of learning that sometimes there isn't any more - no more hugs, no more lucky moments to celebrate together and no more phone calls just to chat.
Sometimes what we care about the most goes away never to return before we can say good-bye and say 'I Love You.' So while we have them . . . it's best we love them, care for them, help fix it when it's broken and take good care of them when they are sick.
This is no doubt true for marriage, friendships, children with bad report cards, dogs with bad hips and ageing parents and grandparents. We keep them close because we love them so much and cherish them!
Some things we keep close to us - like a family member, a best friend who moved away or a classmate we grew up with and they are just some of the things that make us very happy, no matter what.
Living life to the fullest is so important and so are the people we know well, are close to us and we love either all our heart, so always we keep them close!

Birthday Cards with Secret Codes
I looked at the scrawled handwriting on the envelope. I blinked and read it once again before tears began to tumble. My birthday card had been addressed, sent, and signed by Dad. I'd not thought about, or expected, a card that year. The prior months had been . . . read the story >>>

Love is a force more formidable than any other. It is invisible - it cannot be seen or measured, yet it is powerful enough to transform you in a moment and offer you more joy than any material possession could
